Associate Software Engineer
At E2open, you will be an integral member of a dynamic organization, working on cutting-edge technology that transforms the way companies do business with their trading partners in complex, multi-tier supply chains. Currently, E2open is seeking an energetic Senior Software Engineer (MicroStrategy Developer) to join our Research & Development Group. This position involves the development of leading-edge Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) supply chain management applications that drive complex multi-company supply chain management dashboards, workflows, and business-to-business supply chain data interchanges.
Job Description:
We are looking for MicroStrategy Developer with 1-3 years of experience in Software Product development with following core attributes –
• Hands-on development maintenance experience in MicroStrategy 11.x (2021) Knowledge Experience on enterprise portal integration, mobile integration, write back to source data based on analysis by business users, alerts via mail, mobile based on pre-defined events
• Be able to architect solutions on MSTR platform
• Ability to define and review complex Metric
• Ability to design dossiers for solving complex business problems
• Good conceptual knowledge and working experience on meta data creation framework models universe etc., creating report specifications, integration test planning & testing, unit test planning & testing, UAT & implementation support Strong knowledge of quality processes SDLC, Review, Test, Configuration Management, Release Management, Defect Prevention
• Knowledge of Database is essential and ability to review the SQL passes and make decisions based on query timings
• Clear understanding of relational databases
• Should always focused on performance aspect in the design, development
• Ability to do performance tuning using different tools and techniques
• Strong product development experience and knowledge of product development processes
• Should have good communication skills to interact with the stakeholders and clear understanding of requirements
• Ability to work in collaboration with teams from different geographical locations
• Excellent Communication Skills (Written, Verbal, team work and issue resolution)
• Have interest in integration techniques with Big data tools and techniques
• Have hands on experience on creating MSTR deployment packages, Command manager scripts
• Knowledge of Retail domain is added advantage
• Hands on knowledge of MSTR admin, API knowledge is good to have.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
• Architect solutions to solve complex reporting requirements by designing a good extendable solution stack
• Identify and design common functionality
• Develop reports, cubes, dashboards, scorecards
• Ensure code documentation (Inline, function / module level)
• Enhancement and maintenance support of existing database components
• Ensure updates to code documentation
• Runs performance tests
• Debug and fix bugs arising during development and testing
• Help Support team with Issue Diagnostic and Resolution
• Communicate progress of allocated tasks periodically
Qualifications including education:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline
• Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in software development
• Good team player
• Good Communication skills and ability to work on multiple requirements
• Technology hands on Primary – MicroStrategy, MS SQL Server, SQL Queries
• Technology hands on Secondary – Qlik Sense, Integration Services, Performance tuning
• Knowledge of design patterns is essential
