Proven experience in manual and automation testing of software projects. Excellent knowledge of company’s software development design and testing procedures. Verifies that LabVantage products operates as designed.

v Preparing and maintain testing environments, build upgrade, supported 3

v Understanding design documents in Confluence.
v Exploratory testing, writing technical specifications (functional test cases) in Zephyre, updating JIRA, execution of test cases and documentation.
v Bug Reporting, verification, documentation, updating JIRA and maintenance of Bug database for main release and MRs.
v Patch fix verification, documentation, updating JIRA and reporting.
v Work as automation developer to automate all the historical and functional test scripts of LV Medical Suite product.
v Consulting clients/colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems and asking questions to obtain information clarify details and implement information
v Problem solving and thinking laterally as a part of a team or individually to meet the needs of a project.
v Maintaining systems by monitoring, identifying, and reporting software defects.
v Working with automated software testing tools – creation, customization and execution of automated test scripts.

Prepares and submits reports and reviews outlining team assignments and/or changes and project status changes.
Associate Software Engineer – Testing’s responsibilities include the following: This is not an exhaustive task list and other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate or warranted by immediate manager.
Ø Plan, Design, Author, and Execute Test Cases
Ø Bug discovery and Bug fix verification
Ø Develop automation scripts to automate all the historical test scripts for verifying / validating LV Medical Suite poduct.
Ø Develop automation scripts to automate all the functional test scripts created as part of LV Medical Suite product development / enhancement cycle.
Ø Configures necessary hardware and operating environments as needed to complete assigned testing.
Ø Installing LabVantage Medical Suite product, build upgrade, supported 3
rd
party tools installation and maintenance.
Ø Writes or assists in the development of Test Plans, Test Procedures, Traceability Matrix, and Test Summary Report
Ø Test, troubleshoot and critique software components and interfaces in technical depth and completes assigned test-related tasks.
Ø Assists in review of test processes as they are developed.
Ø Analyze requirements during the requirements analysis phase of projects.
Ø Participate in feature development and drive Quality into development process
• Job Qualifications Necessary:
Ø A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.E/B.Tech/MCA) in Computer Science or related discipline.
Ø 1-4 years of demonstrated work experience in software testing or relevant experience in testing. Work experience in automation testing using any automation tool is apricated.
Ø Good documentation skills.
Ø Should be excellent team player.
Ø Passion for Product Quality.
Ø Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
Ø Excellent English communication skills- Written and Oral.
Ø High level of personal accountability and “self-starter” attitude in order to make progress in ambiguous situations on schedule.
Ø Experience with Oracle/SQL database principles, Java, J2EE, Javascript, Jasper Reports is appreciated.
Ø Experience of LIMS/Experience in healthcare software or Work experience in a Lab is a huge advantage.
Ø Knowledge in Confluence, JIRA & Zephyre is appreciated.
Ø Knowledge in performance testing or work experience in tools like JMeter, JUNIT would be added advantage
