In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.
Job Purpose
The candidate would be responsible for ensuring reconciliations of various suspense, asset and liability accounts whilst ensuring the said tasks are carried out in a timely and precise manner.
The candidate needs to be conversant with the applicable regulations, and ensure the regulatory reporting’s being performed are carried out in a comprehensive manner to ensure that the control environment is robust.
Needs to identify the risk & control issues through continuous monitoring and data analytics.
The said candidate needs to collaborate with various stake holders on matter of reconciliation methodology, regulatory reporting, and control aspects for seamless functioning of the unit. To identify areas of risk and control and work with units to ensure the same are minimized.
Excellent communication skills along with in depth analytical skill is mandatory.
Key Accountabilities
General Ledger substantiation & certifications of the Balance Sheet accounts and highlighting breaks if any in line with the defined policies of the bank. To supervise various process reviews and collaborate with units to ensure risk is mitigated in operational processes
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
Responsible for carrying out Daily reconciliation of suspense & clearing accounts in The candidate would be responsible for ensuring reconciliations of various suspense, asset and liability accounts whilst ensuring the said tasks are carried out in a timely and precise manner. Needs to identify the risk & control issues through continuous monitoring and data analytics. The said candidate needs to collaborate with various stake holders on matter of reconciliation methodology, regulatory reporting, and control aspects for seamless functioning of the unit.
The candidate would be responsible for preparation of various regulatory submissions and be conversant with the applicable regulations. Ensure the regulatory reporting’s being performed are carried out in a comprehensive manner to ensure that the control environment is robust.
Required Experience
Essential
Prior experience in in handling Reconciliation / Regulatory reporting / Governance & Control team.
Desirable
Experience of min 7 years in any of the above listed functions.
Experience in conduction UAT’s and having experience of leading projects on automation.
Working knowledge of Payment Operations & Trade.
