Senior Infrastructure Analyst
The Infrastructure India job installs, configures, and maintains IT systems software and hardware for multi-user server computers. Working independently under limited supervision, this job implements solutions for end user needs by ensuring the uptime, performance, resource availability, and security of computers are within established operational guidelines. This role uses their knowledge of computer languages and operations to find and fix problems in computer networks, such as network communications errors, storage problems, and malfunctioning server platforms.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Performs complex analysis during normal IT Infrastructure operation, including on networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications and devices.
• Acquires, installs, and upgrades computer components and software and planning for service outages and other problems.
• Develops automation of routine tasks using scripting and writing basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement.
• Develops domain solutions and executes changes in line with the implementation plan.
• Consults with senior domain administrators regarding the trouble shooting of day-to-day domain issues.
• Configures multiple servers and associated routers to ensure their smooth and reliable operation.
• Reviews documentation as it relates to domain configuration, routing, processes, and service records.
• Creates current documentation of all equipment under operational control.
• Coaches and mentors the work of lower level professionals.

Sr. Storage Administrator
TIAA is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Storage Administrator to join our team to begin a challenging career with our enterprise. This role will have responsibility for the operational management of all centralized storage technologies. This includes the various NAS environments, storage networks, back-up environments and all other technologies classified as a storage technology. In addition, they will provide support to the SAN/NAS global team.
Responsibilities:
• Monitor and maintain operational aspects for the Enterprise SAN and SAN arrays; network attached storage (NAS), and Block & Object storage technology in a mission critical business environment
• Collaborate with various vendors to maintain equipment including firmware, service packs, security patches, etc. to ensure the maximum performance, security and availability of systems
• Perform activities related to install, configure, upgrade and managing SAN devices and fiber switches
• Execute FC zoning for development and production storage volumes
• Manage NetApp snapshot and recovery methods for storage volumes, add and update shares, increase space, add access authority and participate in NAS data migrations
• Ensure support of mission critical business systems of on-prem & off-prem Storage data for Production and Disaster Recovery readiness
• Setup cross site replication of significant data for DR, perform disaster recovery activities for SAN and NAS throughout the year to be in compliance, fulfill all internal and external audits related to storage.
• Perform volume replication and monitor overnight jobs and execute improvements, conducting evaluation reviews on capacity and threshold levels to identify performance issues adding capacity and space keeping the environment healthy and within thresholds.
• Oversee IO performance of production along with development of databases LUNs, ensure backup methods are in place as well as tested for FC LUNs
• Collaborate with APP teams, DBAs, Operations, and Server Administration to assure apt storage usage for D2D functions as well as large data migration projects.
• Build, enhance, and maintain central configuration databases; tracks change requests, analyze, recommend and evaluate enhancements for Storage operational requirements.
• Conducting and reporting on impact assessments for planned configuration changes on hardware and software. Perform configuration verification audits.
• Troubleshoot problems, changes, incidents and OnDemand requests for the backup storage environment using the ITIL Service Management Model
• Providing configuration management reporting and information and performing library control and product builds.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in storage network (SAN, NAS, NFS, CIFS or object storage) specializing in EMC Storage, and NetApp storage systems.
• Two (2) years’ experience with fiber channel switches
• Experience working with network cable mediums, optical fiber cable and connectivity types
Preferred:
• Ability to rotate on-call support when required (i.e. evening hours or weekends)
• Five (5) years’ experience in BNA, StorageGrid, Netapp System Manager, OnCommand Unified Manager, Unisphere
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering and other related fields
• Ability to use a Graphic User Interface (GUI) and operate a Command Line Interface (CLI) on a Linux or UNIX OS
• Foundational knowledge of EMC VMAX, Isilon, Hitachi USPV, VSP and HNAS
• Storage Administrator Certification, NetApp Certified Data Administrator and ITIL Certified
• Experience with Cloud Computing such as AWS, Azure or Google
• Experience with scripting, ansible, and metric reporting
• Experience with ServiceNow or other incident/change ticketing systems
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
