Roles and Responsibility
Strategy
• Generating calls around Derivatives strategy (futures and options) across various time frames.
• The focus should be on giving spread strategies like Bull/Bear/Straddle/Strangle, covered calls and expiry strategies like out of the money options with at least 60% strike rates and positive yields.
• Study and understand the derivatives data and discuss the same in morning calls.
• Preparing market commentaries/strategy reports and take complete ownership for preparing and delivering the reports to end users.
• Identifying Trade Ideas for medium term.

Business
• Derivatives (Future and Options)– Ownership of all activities related to the Derivatives study like open positions, put call ratio, spreads etc. Strategizing future and option Index/stock recommendations, strategies around the option for different time frames clearly identifying the stop loss.
• Preparing market commentaries/reports – Preparing various market commentaries; Collating data for morning calls, morning note, post market dossier and weekly report; Participating in various calls; the morning memo is prepared and sent within the stipulated time; Lead the Morning Conference call on the Derivatives research part and ensure all the derivatives strategy reports are prepared and disseminated to end user.
• Trade Ideas –Making strategy and high conviction list based on secondary analysis along with writing strategy notes; Identify medium term momentum.

• Ensure service standards are met and maintained on a consistent basis throughout the year.
• Dissemination of relevant information up to the end users
• Ensure adherence to "Dos & Don'ts" norms
• Ensure adherence to statutory / regulatory and internal norms
• Adherence to all KYC, AML and other procedural requirements
• Adhere to Group Code of Conduct & other Company Policies
• Adhere to other Company Policies
• Ensure all legal matters are addressed / escalated appropriately to relevant authorities
• Adherence to Health and Safety guidelines
• Ensure Adherence to Branding Norms

People and Talent
• Knowledge of fundamental analytical tools.
• Prior experience in equity research and knowledge of multiple sectors.
• Good with excel and report writing skills

Risk Management
• Monitor all major risk issues and concentrations as far as portfolios are concerned.

Governance
• Promote an environment where compliance with internal control functions and the external regulatory framework is a central priority of the business

• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.

Our Ideal Candidate
• Experience in the equity market preferably on Research, fund management and good writing skills like writing reports.
• Must possess knowledge on the risk-reward factor of the fundamental research and identifying the stocks accordingly.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in Equity Markets
