Senior Software Developer
The Senior SW Developer job performs installation, configuration, and maintenance of information technology (IT) systems software and hardware for multi-user server computers. Working independently under general supervision, this job maintains end user needs by ensuring the uptime; performance, resource availability, and security of the computers are within established operational guidelines.
Key Responsibilities and Duties
• Performs routine analysis during normal of information technology (IT) infrastructure, including on networks, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications and devices.
• Supports the acquiring, installing, and upgrading computer components and software and planning for service outages and other problems.
• Maintains the automation of routine tasks using scripting and writing basic computer programs to address more complex systems software configuration and enhancement.
• Implements domain solutions and executes changes in line with the implementation plan.
• Helps senior domain administrators with trouble shooting of day-to-day domain issues.
• Configures servers and associated routers to ensure their smooth and reliable operation.
• Creates documentation as it relates to domain configuration, routing, processes, and service records.
• Updates current documentation of all equipment under operational control.

Job Profile:
• Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources
• Removing corrupted data and fixing errors and related problems
• Performing analysis to assess quality and meaning of data
• Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and suggest code problems
• Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
• Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.
• Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry
• Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data
• Working with programmers, Data engineers, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.
• Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.
Technical Skills:
Primary:
Strong mathematical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data Knowledge of programming languages like SQL, Oracle and Python Experience in handling ETL frameworks & databases. Knowledge of how to create and apply the most accurate algorithms on datasets in order to find solutions. Problem-solving skills Accuracy and attention to detail Adept at queries, writing reports, and making presentations
Secondary:
Additionally, knowledge of any ETL tool, Data modeling will be desirable. Cleansing and preparing data Analyzing and exploring data Expertise in statistics Analyzing and visualizing data Reports and dashboards
Soft Skills:
1. Team Player – ability to work in global team environment. Partner with Development & Production Support, DevOps teams and business users.
2. Flexible to pick up conflicting priorities
4. Upskill & Upgrade self as per strategic roadmaps
5. Good Communication skills
6. Demonstrate ownership to deliver quality solutions.
7. Open to support during weekends as and when required (only in case of implementation/critical issues)
8. Proven working experience in data analysis
