Job Description:
Batch Cycle Development / Job Scheduling : A 'Batch Cycle Developer' or a 'Job Scheduler', is a specialist responsible to develop and maintain batch processing needs of various business applications & systems. Typically, a batch process executes a series of programs (called jobs) that runs without any manual intervention, in a pre-defined frequency. It is spread across multiple platforms like, Data Warehousing applications, Java applications etc., to fulfil various business requirements; for example: Communication & data transfer between different applications accross Windows, Linux or Mainframe systems
Current Opening: Development and then scheduling (called, 'cross platform scheduling') the batch jobs in the existing sytem landscape as per the project requirements in a distributed (Windows & Linux) environment; and support & maintenance of the batch jobs.
