The Account Receivable Executive plays a crucial role in managing the financial transactions of the company by ensuring timely and accurate collection of outstanding accounts receivable. This position involves maintaining relationships with clients, monitoring outstanding balances, and collaborating with various teams to resolve billing issues. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Payment Tracking: Monitor and track outstanding customer accounts and follow up for timely payments.
Collections: Contact clients to follow up on overdue payments, negotiate payment plans, and resolve billing discrepancies.
Maintain positive relationships with clients, addressing any inquiries or concerns related to their accounts.
Account Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies between invoices and payments.
Prepare and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate action.
Credit Management: Evaluate creditworthiness of new clients, establish credit limits, and recommend changes as needed.
Accurately apply incoming payments to customer accounts in the accounting system.
Month-End Close: Assist in the month-end closing process by preparing necessary reports and reconciliations.
Maintain accurate and organized records of all transactions and communications related to accounts receivable.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field is preferred.
Proven experience in accounts receivable or a similar finance role.
Proficiency in Excel.
Familiarity with credit management and risk assessment.

The role of Tax Associate is to prepare corporations (1120C/1120S), partnerships and individuals (1040), as well as other less common entity types for customers in a variety of industries and tax specialty focus areas. Tasks will include preparing basic to intermediate level returns based on complexity, as well as researching and resolving related tax issues.
Our Tax Associates receive software and technical training giving them the ability to prepare most entity types and are assigned to our firm wide New and Experienced preparer pools. The firm's tax resource manager is responsible for assigning work to the pool preparers and ensuring that all work scheduled is managed and completed to expectations. An introduction to all entity types and industry groups at the Associate level allow our preparers, upon promotion, to select the industry group they want to align with for their technical development and career experience at Elliott Davis.
Prepare tax returns with varying complexity including supporting work papers for various entities such as individuals (1040), corporations (1120C/1120S), and partnerships (1065), etc.
Prepare tax returns in a variety of areas - estate & gifts, trust, non-profits.
all tax credit forms.
Identify potential adjustments due to tax law changes and reflect on workpapers and returns.
Assist freshers in addressing the tax issues with proposed solutions.
Participate in tax and research assignments to achieve an accurate and efficient product.
Ability to manage the kickoff calls independently or with little support from Seniors and Managers.
Gather data from both internal and external sources.
Perform tax research with view for alternatives to satisfy customer's objectives.
Graduate/ PG in Finance or Enrolled Agent.
~1-2 years of recent public accounting experience (U.Tax experience) would be good to have.
~ Ability to read and interpret a complete set of financial statements.
~ Software experience in SurePrep, CCH and Caseware will be appreciated.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is expected to work in our office. Flexibility is granted to employees to work remotely on an as-needed basis.
Non-Busy Season / 40 hours per week.
