We are now expanding to Navi Mumbai and are looking for teachers to embark on a journey of transforming Navi Mumbai schools from good to great. If you are ready to take on the challenge, we promise to support you with everything it takes to succeed.
Overview of our journey in Pune
iTeach Schools runs free and high-impact secondary schools and a college-to-career program for the most disadvantaged students of Pune and PCMC. Like many Indian cities, both of these public education systems only go up to Grade VII, leading to the poorest students being unable to finish their schooling. In 2026, with a staff of 250 members across nine schools, we will serve 2800 students and 2000+ alumni - giving students a fighting chance at college, career, and citizenship.

Key Responsibilities:
A teacher at iTeach Schools wears multiple hats to ensure an excellent education for their students. The three different parts of the role are:
l - Teaching your subject (60% time)
● Use existing resources and design innovative Annual Plans, Unit Plans, and Lesson Plans
● Teach one or two subjects of your expertise to your class (about 30 students in each class)
● Conduct regular tests and assessments to monitor learning and give feedback to students
● Build a positive and strong school culture with a focus on learning and joy
● Collaborate with the parents of the students through regular meetings to create a positive learning environment
ll - Mentoring students (20% time)
● Mentor nearly 15-20 students throughout the year
● Develop ways to ensure that these students have strong study habits, high attendance, and the drive to excel-share these plans with all teachers across the ecosystem
● Mentor students to identify a best-fit career after Grade X
lll - Leading projects in school (20% time)
● Work with the School Principal and Vice Principal to lead multiple projects essential to student learning (based on your talents), such as Annual Day, Sports Day, Hobby Clubs, etc.
● Use these opportunities to strengthen your leadership skills and mentor new teachers
Education & Experience:
● Required: B.Ed/D.Ed and TET/CTET Qualified
Location: Navi Mumbai
Salary: Salary is based on the candidate's education and work experience. Our usual compensation for this role lies between 27000 - 34000. CTC per month. We also take pride in providing the best of industry benefits such as PF, Gratuity, Medical Insurance, etc.
