Job Description
Strategy
• Awareness and good understanding of the Group's business strategy and model and the impact on their work.
• Communicate and raise awareness and understanding of the firm's business strategy and model appropriate to the Client Tax Compliance across RB organisation.
Business
• Working closely with the CTDD CPBB Segment Lead, support the implementation of FATCA and Common Reporting Standards ("CRS") changes and the execution of on-going activities (FATCA and CRS Enhanced Review of Individual clients, Repapering of Non-Individual Entity clients, RM Aggregation).
• Build close and effective working relationships with Country stakeholders and Group stakeholders to drive implementation of FATCA and CRS changes and execution of on-going activities.
• Help collect requirements for related system changes if required, work closely with the Implementation Team on preparation and approval of BRDs, FSDs, test scripts and on coordination and execution of system testing (UAT, UVT) with Countries, as required.
• Initiate and drive programme governance activities, provide hands-on, timely and reliable support to the client tax compliance Country Champions and other in-Country staff (resolution of queries, process guidance, escalations).
• Support and drive process improvement for client tax compliance, engage with the relevant Process Owners, ensure success from concept to implementation.
• Become a tax compliance expert in the CPBB segment, and one of the go-to persons for process, system and data issue.
• Support ad-hoc tax compliance system, process and data remediation projects, to ensure data quality on output meets regulatory standards.
• Perform other relevant tasks under the Segment Leads guidance, if and as required.
