Description
Technical
Must Have:
· 10+ years of experience in the IT industry with hands-on development in MS SQL database and SSIS.
• Good hands on experience with TSQL, PL/SQL(packages,UDF, window functions, hierarchical queries,procedures,cursor,collections,trigger)
• Deep understanding of performance tuning aspects like analysis of query plan,query hints, different kind of indices, partitioned tables, materialized views, gathering optimizer stats.
• Experience on SQL Server database objects administration (Manage, configure, monitor)
• Previous experience working with multi-terabyte data warehouses /data marts, ideally MS Sql.
• Experience in performance testing of large applications: Defining strategies for stress, concurrency and volume test and execution of those.
· Experience with distributed version control tool (Git, Github, BitBucket).
· Educated to degree level in Computer / Data Science or equivalent qualification or work experience
Nice to Have:
• Data modelling - understanding of Modelling techniques. Data Vault knowledge a plus.
• Windows and VBA Scripting.
• Experience with any programming skills ( Python, Java Knowledge will be big plus )
• Understanding of Sheduling tool like Control-M/Autosys/Tidal.
• Hands on Experience on other ETL tool like Informatica/Datastage/Pentaho
• Basic understanding on Google Cloud Platform for data engineering.
Domain
Must Have:
• BFSI domain experience.
• Understanding on one of the Investment products(Equity,Fixed Income,Derivatives etc)
Nice to Have:
• Risk technology experience [Credit risk]
• Familiarity with regulatory guidelines around credit risk/ counter party risk under BASEL 2 and 3.
• Exposure to Trade life cycle
