Job Role
Lead role to handle a team responsible for delivering PVB CDD and Operations related activities.
Key Responsibilities
• Promote the spirit of continuous improvement by flagging any procedural issues that impact delivery of responsibilities with suggestions improvements and work around.
• Ensures all conclusions and rationale to support decisions are clearly and concisely documented in systems of record to withstand regulatory and audit scrutiny.
• Comply to agreed Turn Around Times for assigned activities as detailed in the Document Operating Instructions and the Service Level Agreements.
• Advise on and escalate higher risk relationships and reputation risks arising from CDD to Compliance or Local Client Committee (LCC).
• Leverage on expertise and train the frontline in order to produce high quality SOW and complete Account Opening Pack to avoid rework.
• Review the quality of the Static Information if it meets all set standards for Account Opening, Maintenance and Trigger review.
• Provide a final recommendation to proceed/not proceed on accounts submitted for Account Opening or Account Maintenance.
• Determine and advice the frontline if other searches are needed to supplement those already done for Account Opening.
• Review / Perform other Due Diligence requirements such as adverse media findings, Sanctions link, Tax red flags, etc.
• Review client onboarding and maintenance requirement against all set standards for Enhanced Client Due Diligence.
• Act as SME for implementation and controls for daily processes and assist with the update of procedures.
• Partner with functional experts (i.e. Legal, Compliance, Financial Crime compliance) as needed.
• Identifies and escalates potentially suspicious activity in accordance with internal procedures.
• Advise on PvB CDD policy and procedures and applicable local laws and regulations.
• Collaborate with RMs in completing due diligence.
• Perform / Review source of wealth corroboration.
