Manager (Associate Vice President) – Strategy and Transactions - Strategy

The opportunity
EY is looking for a Manager (Associate Vice President) in Strategy & Transactions – Strategy Team
Your key responsibilities
1. Primary delivery responsibility in the execution of both commercial due diligence and strategy engagements.
2. Working on commercial due diligence, growth strategy and feasibility studies for private equity and corporates
3. Working on engagements across the range of services, with focus on analysis of financial and MIS information on transactions, secondary research, primary discussions with industry stakeholders and report writing
4. Support in the creation of thought leadership and knowledge artifacts
5. Involved in various business development initiatives such as preparation of pitch documents, industry notes, scope of work, etc.
6. The role will evolve from engagement delivery to engagement management and pro- active business development over time.
Skills and attributes for success
1. Strong analytical skills and structured thinking
2. Excellent communication skills (written and oral)
3. Proficiency with MS-Office (particularly, Power Point and Excel)
4. Ability to manage client interactions
5. Ability to work with tight timelines
6. Attention to detail
7. Willingness to travel within India and abroad
To qualify for the role you must have
1. MBA from a premier institute (Tier-I Indian B-school) with experience in transaction advisory, commercial due diligence, strategy verticals will be preferred
2. 5-7 years of professional experience (post MBA) in Consulting/PE/VC firms
Ideally you’ll also have
1. Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
2. Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
3. Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
