Associate opportunity based in Colac, Geelong or Torquay. You will work under a Wealth Partner’s mentorship, support the advice process, handle client queries, and build towards a Financial Adviser role with a clear development pathway and growing ownership of client relationships

Your role, your contribution
Working under the mentorship of a Wealth Partner, you will build the skills and experience to progress towards an Adviser role. You will be a key point of contact for client queries and support the advice process, with increasing autonomy and ownership of client relationships over time. An overview of your day-to-day responsibilities follows:
Proactively communicate with clients and determine how Findex can best meet their needs
Assist your Advisers/Partners in providing strategic financial planning an/////d investment advice including, investment structures, estate planning, superannuation and retirement planning
Prepare pre-appointment work and participate in client meetings with Advisers/Partners
Ensure advice documents are compliant, in line with industry legislation, regulation, and Findex policies and procedures
Coordinate production of Advice documentation and support to prepare SOAs

What you bring to the role
FASEA approved degree
Diploma or Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning qualified or equivalent
An interest in achieving or studying towards CFP
Proven experience in a similar role in Financial Planning
Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise your workload
The ability to work and thrive in a team environment
