Job Description
Responsible for completing tasks and transactions within agreed KPI's - Knows and applies fundamental work theories/concepts/processes in own areas of work - Responsible for liaising with the Merchandising managers and raising the Order confirmations based on negotiations and initiate them with the suppliers - Follow-up and chase suppliers for the confirmed Orders to avoid delays and enabling raising of on time POs - Validate the discrepancies between Tesco agreements and supplier responses on the Order confirmation sheet and investigate further in partnership with the Merchandising managers - Responsible for uploading order confirmations and exporting Purchase orders into various Tesco systems and also investigate PO failures and drive on time resolution - Responsible for tracking the Purchase orders and work with suppliers; Merchandising managers and system support teams - Assist Merchandising Managers with data and insights around the purchase orders raised and their statuses to enable them with effective stock planning - Accept/Approve Purchase orders with discrepancies in consultation with the Merchandising managers
Qualifications
Planning and Organizing; Collaborating & Partnering; Ownership & Accountability; Logical Reasoning; Analytical Ability; Analyses and Judgement; Numeracy Skills; Stakeholder management and Proficient Written and Verbal Communication Skills
Any graduate with Merchandising/supply chain experience (1 year) would be preferred.
