Job Description
We are looking for a professional Assistant Manager- Tax with a minimum of 3 years of experience
to join our team. The functions of a tax analyst in ensuring the effective handling of all tax-related
matters in the organization they work for, and their responsibility vary based on the complexity
of the taxes, they’re filing for, and the assets, expenses, and deductions associated with the
business.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Responsible for gathering the information required for international compliance and transfer pricing, and providing support with the year-end provision.
• Provide support with professional development, as well as review the work of the tax accountant
• Provide support for tax audits and answer inquiries from various taxing jurisdictions
• Verify account balances by performing reconciliations on tax general ledger accounts
• Responsible for ensuring proper taxation of inbound and outbound expatriate employees
• Ensure the organization is current with changing tax obligations and contact tax agencies to apply for and set up new tax IDs as necessary
• Liaise with tax agencies for timely resolution of all payroll tax-related issues
• Review and approve all payments and return by tax vendors whether on a weekly, biweekly, quarterly, or annual basis
• Regularly perform audits on the system to ensure data integrity; responsible for the resolution of discrepancies that might adversely impact the company’s tax returns
• Responsible for the reconciliation of payroll tax account balances and other payroll functions as required.
• Tax Audit, Income Tax Return of Corporate, Transfer Pricing, International Taxation, 15CA, 15CB, Appeals, Income Tax Assessments
Overall Experience
• Proven experience as a Tax Analyst.
• Able to work on financial software.
• Interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of all statutory legislation and regulations is required.
• Capable of managing, guiding, and leading employees to ensure proper financial processes that are followed.
• A thorough understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles is required.
• A professional qualification such as CA or something similar will be considered advantageous.
• To be well-updated with current amendments in law.
Primary/ Must Have Skilled
• Degree in Finance, Accounts, or related experience.
• Extensive management-level strategic planning experience.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Should be well-versed in investment activities and provide strategies that the company
should take.
• Create financial trends and projections for the company.
• Make a prudent investment in assets that maximize returns.
• Achieve proper equity/ debt mix to reduce costs and maximize operational profit.
• Analyze the organization’s financial performance and return on investment.
