About This Position
As we expand our team, we have opened an Assistant Marketing Manager position. This position intends to run all the marketing-related activities to bring our message to people who can benefit from our services.
Skills required: For this marketing management and administration position, candidates need to have basic skills in the following:
Marketing Knowledge: We seek candidates with a strong understanding of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics. They should demonstrate familiarity with various marketing channels, including digital marketing, social media, content marketing, and email marketing.
Impeccable English: Strong spoken and written English proficiency is necessary for this position. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication skills, including fluency, grammar, and vocabulary. The ability to articulate ideas effectively and produce well-written content is essential.
Basic Copywriting Skills: The ideal candidate should possess basic copywriting skills and can review and edit copy written by others, correcting minor errors and ensuring accuracy. Familiarity with grammar, spelling, punctuation, and style conventions is essential.
Social Media Skills: The ideal candidate should understand social media platforms, including Facebook and Instagram. They should be proficient in creating engaging posts, responding to comments and messages, and utilising social media management tools. Experience with boosting posts and running targeted social media ad campaigns is highly desirable.
Technological proficiency: you should be able to use (or quickly learn) different software required for marketing purposes, such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems, marketing automation platforms, content management systems (CMS), and social media management tools. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, is also essential.
Visual Aesthetics: you should be able to see good or bad media ( for example, a YouTube video or website pages ) when you see it and guide the designers/editors accordingly.
Basic knowledge of online, direct-response advertising.
Job Scorecard - While the metrics of this position will change as the needs of the organisation evolve, the following metrics will form the basis of performance evaluation:
Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC)
Lead-to-Customer Conversion Rate
Task Description: Currently, these tasks deliver the results in the above KPIs. More or different tasks may be identified in communication with the selected candidate.
Writing Marketing Emails regularly:
Managing the Website and Blog:
Evaluating Facebook and Google Ad Campaigns and guiding freelancers for improving ROI through testing different copy and creatives.
Recruiting and Managing work delivery from freelancers.
Creating social media post creation and handling.
