We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Asst.Manager Principal responsibilities: • Knowledge of Asset Capitalisation related requirement, and practical application of accounting is preferable. • Support to ensure robust control environment by adhering to relevant accounting standards and policies. Performing analytical review through reconciliations and investigation facilitating substantiation and signoff by owners • Support and liaise with various stakeholders to manage BAU and any other initiatives. Further, actively contribute to process migration to ensure seamless transition in line with target operating model. • Support quality and re-engineering initiatives (within HOST and Global Finance/GFC) leading to positive business outcomes, operational efficiency and higher productivity. • Respond to the assigned queries in a timely manner. Requirements What you will need to succeed in the role: (Minimum Qualification and Skills Required) • Fresh CA. • Exposure to Accounting, Financial Control and knowledge of IFRS preferred. • Exposure to HSBC GL systems, month end reconciliations, investigations and point of contact to various internal stakeholders and escalate as appropriate. • Exposure to Month end recs certification on AssureNet roles • Knowledge and ability to perform control risk assessments • Analytical and ability to relate business operations to financial exposure • Problem Solving skills - Must be creative and have analytical ability in recommending procedures & process changes. • Time management skills. What additional skills will be good to have? (List out good to have skills and certifications) • Basic Understanding of General Accounting and Asset Accounting(IAS16 & IAS38).
