Forcepoint is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to help design, implement & support Atlassian suite products. The role will be exposed to multiple Atlassian solutions and will have the opportunity to design and implement the solutions at Forcepoint.
Site Reliability Engineer will be working closely with various lines of business, including Engineering, HR, Cloud Operations to ensure business requirements are adequately mapped to the solutions.
Design and engineer Atlassian suite of products, such as JIRA Service Management, Opsgenie and Statuspage.io
Define and implement baseline configurations across JIRA Service Management, Opsgenie and Statuspage.io
Orchestrate and implement custom workflows for Service Request Fulfillment, Incident Management, Change & Problem Management in JSM
Build and maintain Configuration management database for all assets across the organization
Partner with business stakeholders across the organization to understand business requirements for different solutions and architect the tools to deliver on the requirements
Design and build cross platform integrations for JSM, Opsgenie and Statuspage.io using API’s
Design automated Incident Response workflows to support execution of Incident Management & RCA process in Opsgenie
Monitor and observe platform performance and troubleshoot constraints and bottlenecks impacting the performance of the solutions
Define and implement policies around role based access control and data-segregation policies
Create, manage and report against KPIs for the platform’s operation, overseeing all platform’s change management and deployment activities
Implement and maintain full operational compliance against various security and compliance requirements
Participate in On-Call rotation & ensure overall uptime and reliability of the solutions
Practice sustainable incident response and blameless postmortems
Participate in Agile practices and SCRUM ceremonies
Qualifications/Skills:
Experience of working with Atlassian solutions, primarily focused on JIRA Service Management
Hands on experience with installing, configuring and performance optimization of JIRA Service Management and other Atlassian solutions
Prior experience of working in a Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps or Cloud Engineering environments
Prior experience with installing, configuring and maintaining a CMDB
Foundational understanding of ITSM concepts such as Incident, Problem & Change Management
Experience with developing and implementing custom workflows in Atlassian platforms
Experience with SDLC methodologies and Agile development framework
Strong understanding of CI/CD Pipeline and related tools
Ability to design, author and release code in languages such as Go, Phyton and Java
Proficient with REST API, JQL and Webhooks
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strong communication skills, with the ability to solicit buy-in from key functional stakeholders
Automation driven, willing to challenge the status-quo and eliminate toil
