Job Description:
The Assistant Technical Manager - Security Testing Technology will play a crucial role in supporting the Technical Manager in overseeing and managing the security testing technology operations within the Information Security department. This role requires a deep understanding of security testing methodologies, tools, and technologies, as well as strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams effectively.
Required Skills:
• Technical Expertise: Stay up-to-date with the latest security testing tools, techniques, and industry trends to ensure the organization's security testing technology remains state-of-the-art.
• Assist in Test Planning: Collaborate with the Technical Manager to develop comprehensive security testing plans and strategies for various projects, applications, and systems.
• Tool Evaluation and Selection: Participate in the evaluation and selection of security testing tools and technologies that align with the organization's security requirements and objectives.
• Testing Execution: Lead and participate in security testing activities, including vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and code reviews, ensuring the timely identification and mitigation of security vulnerabilities.
• Report Analysis: Assist in the analysis of security testing reports, identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities, and providing actionable recommendations to stakeholders.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of security testing processes, procedures, and results, ensuring compliance with regulatory and industry standards.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Technical Manager and security testing team members to coordinate testing efforts, share knowledge, and mentor junior staff.
• Training and Development: Support the ongoing training and development of security testing team members to enhance their skills and capabilities
