Description of Work:
General Statement of Duties:
The ATM Services Representative handles the back-office processing and reconciliations of the Bank Network settlement for cards and ATMs and terminal level recons. Customer claims are handled for proper resolution in conjunction with Regulation E. Assists the management team to ensure ATM’S are in service and functioning at an optimal level at all times.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Prepares and processes appropriate general ledger entries.
2. Assists branch personnel with inquiries and/or problems related to customer needs. Research resolves and responds to the same.
3. Reconciles network activity associated with our outside service provider and processes transactions in relation to the settlement process. Research and resolves any differences that occur.
4. Performs terminal level reconciliations, posts entries, perform database closeouts of open items.
5. Research and Processes ATM Exceptions items.
6. Reviews the Compromised Card Report and acts on any compromised cards that might create opportunities for fraud against our customers and the bank.
7. Research card related issues, perform maintenance as required.
8. Handles ATM customer claims for proper resolution and compliance with Regulation E.
9. Monitor fraud alerts and takes appropriate actions to notify customers.
10. Handles Travel Notifications from various teams as needed.
11. Prepares Incident Reports for cases of potential fraud.
12. Issues ATM cards to branches to replenish their inventory under dual control.
13. Prepares various reports for management.
14. Performs other duties, as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good oral and written communication skills.
Knowledge of Regulation E.
Customer service oriented.
Shows initiative and a willingness to learn.
Ability to collaborate with other business units within the bank.
Working knowledge of practices and procedures relating to bank operations.
Good organizational skills.
Active listening and problem-solving skills to effectively resolve issues or problems
Must be able to multi-task.
Ability to work with a moderate level of supervision
Routine local travel that requires driving and walking into and around various Branch locations.
Must exercise a moderate degree of effective, independent judgment.
Knowledge of bank general ledger entries demonstrating an understanding of debits and credits
Intermediate skills in MS Office Word and Excel.
Pay Range: $53,000 - $55,000
Hours: 37.50
This is a non-exempt position, eligible for overtime if the hours worked are over 40 hours.
The actual compensation will be based on qualifications, experience and other factors permitted by law.
