Location: Miami, FL (Hybrid)
Salary: $120k-$160k
Requirements: 3+ years of Management-side Labor & Defense experience as an attorney.
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Employment Attorney to join our firm and provide legal representation and counsel to clients in the area of labor and employment law. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employment defense and federal litigation.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on labor and employment issues, including but not limited to discrimination, harassment, wage and hour laws, and employee benefits.
• Conduct research and analysis on labor and employment laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels.
• Prepare and review legal documents, such as contracts, policies, and agreements related to labor and employment matters.
• Represent clients in federal litigation and other legal proceedings related to labor and employment disputes.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals to develop case strategies and provide effective representation to clients.
• Stay updated on changes and developments in labor and employment laws to ensure compliance and provide proactive counsel to clients.
Qualifications
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Attorney, with a focus on labor and employment law.
• Strong knowledge of federal labor and employment laws and regulations.
• Proven experience in employment defense and federal litigation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building relationships with clients and colleagues.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple cases simultaneously.
• Detailed-oriented and strong analytical skills for conducting legal research and preparing legal documents.
• Passion for advocating for clients and providing sound legal advice.
