Attorney – Mass Tort Strategy, Intake & Marketing

Position Summary
This role is central to the growth and execution of our mass tort practice. The Attorney – Mass Tort Strategy, Intake & Marketing will be responsible for identifying potential mass tort cases, developing targeted marketing campaigns to attract clients, managing the client intake process, and overseeing litigation strategies from inception to resolution. This position reports directly to senior stakeholders and requires a proactive approach to practice development and case management.
Key Responsibilities
Case Identification & Analysis
• Evaluate potential mass tort cases, assessing the viability and strategic benefit to the firm.
• Conduct preliminary investigations and due diligence to ensure strong foundations for litigation.
Marketing Strategy
• Collaborate with the marketing department to conceptualize and implement multi-channel campaigns designed to attract mass tort clients.
• Develop marketing materials (digital and print) and work with marketing to identify strategic media channels to maximize visibility and engagement.
Client Intake & Management
• Work with intake department to ensure an efficient and empathetic experience for potential clients.
• Serve as a point of contact for new clients, providing guidance, gathering information, and initiating cases promptly.
Co-Counsel Coordination
• Assist with building and maintaining relationships with co-counsel, managing referrals and coordinating efforts to ensure cohesive representation.
• Assist with negotiating and executing co-counsel agreements in alignment with firm objectives.
Litigation Oversight
• Oversee the filing of mass tort claims, coordinate with court personnel, and monitor key deadlines.
• Ensure consistent client communication, providing updates on case status and progress.
Stakeholder Reporting
• Deliver regular reports to senior leadership on case developments, marketing performance, and overall practice growth.
• Present data-driven insights to refine marketing strategies and optimize resource allocation.
Legal Research & Strategy
• Conduct legal research when necessary to support the development of mass tort cases and advance litigation strategies.
• Assist with drafting and review pleadings, briefs, and other legal documents, ensuring high-quality, persuasive content.
Qualifications
• Legal Experience
• Minimum of 4+ years as a practicing attorney, with a background in mass tort litigation strongly preferred.
• Writing & Research Skills
• Outstanding writing and research abilities, capable of producing polished, strategic legal documents with minimal oversight.
• Marketing Acumen
• Demonstrated experience collaborating with marketing teams and managing campaign initiatives.
• Knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing channels, with an eye for innovation and data-driven decision-making.
• Client Management
• Track record of successfully managing client relationships and ensuring client satisfaction.
• Empathetic communication style that fosters trust and transparency.
• Communication & Presentation
• Excellent verbal communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to present confidently to clients, colleagues, and firm leadership.
