Responsibilities

In this position, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and experienced team of Attorneys with local and remote support staff

A typical day involves drafting demands, negotiating settlements, client communication, research and drafting, overseeing support staff and files, taking depositions, leading mediations, developing case strategies, and taking cases to trial

Drafting and responding to discovery, drafting motions and motion responses, legal research, and legal writing

Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and falls, premises liability claims, and wrongful death cases

Work closely with clients to understand the extent of their injuries

Negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel

Represent clients in court

Work with experts from various medical and other disciplines to assist with report drafting, deposition preparation, etc

This position is for a Pre-Suit and Litigation, Plaintiff Personal Injury Attorney with one (1) year (would also consider entry-level) of experience in Texas. In this position, you will have the opportunity to work alongside a dynamic and experienced team of Attorneys with local and remote support staff.

A typical day involves drafting demands, negotiating settlements, client communication, research and drafting, overseeing support staff and files, taking depositions, leading mediations, developing case strategies, and taking cases to trial.

· 1+ years of experience pre-suit and litigating personal injury (preferred)

· Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar

· Experience drafting and responding to motions

· Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing and legal research skills

· Great attorney work ethic

· Bilingual preferred but not required

· Prefer an ambitious and passionate attorney
