Job Description
An Audio Visual installer responsible for installing and maintaining audio and visual systems for Home Theaters, Clubs, Lounge Bars, Auditoriums etc. The job duties include:Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematicsMounting speakers, projectors, screens, and other AV equipmentRunning and hiding cables, connecting equipment to power sources and network systemsConfiguring and programming AV Systems like Mixers, DSPs, AV Receivers, Processors etcTesting and adjusting audio and visual systems to ensure optimal performanceProviding training and support to end-users on the operation of the equipmentTroubleshooting and repairing any technical issues that ariseKeeping up-to-date with new AV technologies and industry developmentsTo perform this role, audio visual installer should have a good understanding of electrical systems, experience with installation and configuration of AV equipment, and excellent problem-solving and communication skills. Technical background and/or certifications in AV installation/Audio Engineering will be an added advantage
