Hours - Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week with flexible, hybrid working

Holiday – 25 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays)

About the Audit Assistant Manager role

Due to growth, we have an exciting opportunity to join our Audit team in our Leicester, Fosse Park office.

Key responsibilities of the Audit Assistant Manager will include:

managing the audit process from planning through to completion and review the work of less experienced colleagues. User knowledge of both FRS102 an advantage

demonstrate excellent technical ability

ability to build effective client relationships and manage each job to ensure client expectations, budgets and deadlines are met

management & development of the audit team through providing thoughtful feedback on jobs, offering coaching and support as necessary and supporting the team with useful, constructive feedback as appropriate

sharing best practice and ideas within the team for process improvement and development of each other

About you –

We are looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

ACA/ACCA qualified preferred although will consider QBE

at least 3 years’ experience of working in Audit within an accountancy practice

highly computer literate

up to date with current auditing and accounting issues and conversant with relevant auditing and accounting standards, company law etc.

dynamic, adaptable and receptive to embrace and drive positive change

ambitious, results orientated

excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral

analytical skills and attention to detail and ability to think laterally to be capable of identifying potential problems and providing solutions

show initiative, exercise judgement and take ownership of tasks from start to finish

collaborative team player

travel is limited but you will need to drive and have your own vehicle
