Job Description: Accounts and Taxation Associate
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Accounts and Taxation Associate to join our team. As an Accounts and Taxation Associate, you will be responsible for various accounting, tax, and compliance-related tasks for different types of entities. Your primary duties will include finalizing accounts, computing income tax, conducting audits, managing GST returns, and ensuring regular ROC compliances.
Responsibilities:
Finalization of Accounts: Prepare and finalize accounts for various entities, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
Income Tax Computation and Filing: Compute income tax liabilities for clients and prepare and file income tax returns within the specified deadlines.
Audit: Conduct audits for both corporate and non-corporate entities, ensuring compliance with auditing standards and identifying any discrepancies or issues.
GST Returns: Possess knowledge of GST regulations and be responsible for managing and filing GST returns for clients.
ROC Compliances: Ensure regular compliance with Registrar of Companies (ROC) requirements, such as filing annual returns, maintaining statutory registers, and fulfilling other legal obligations.
Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor of Commerce (Honors) degree or equivalent.
Semi-Qualified CA with a working knowledge, preferably gained from a CA firm, for more than 2 years.
Good understanding of accounting principles and tax laws.
Familiarity with the latest updates and changes in accounting, taxation, and compliance regulations.
Proficiency in using accounting software and tools.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
