Audit Manager | IA Data Quality

The Audit Manager is an intermediate level global role within Internal Audit Data Tracing team responsible for performing moderately complex Data trace audits and assessments for key regulatory and management reports in coordination with the Audit team. The overall objective is to utilize in-depth subject matter expertise to ensure that the reports meet audit standards and is in conformance with regulatory instructions.

Responsibilities:

Consistently develop, execute and deliver Data Trace audit reports in a timely manner, in accordance with Internal Audit and Regulatory standards.
Serve in third line of defense as lead or co-lead reviewer for Data Trace Audit reviews within Data Quality Function in IA
Collaborate with teams across the business and determine impact of gaps identified on reports submitted
Leverage a comprehensive expertise to manage a team
Advise on change initiatives, while advancing integrated auditing concepts and technology adoption
Recommend interventions to issues, propose solutions for Data Tracing and conformance situations, risk and control problems, partner with Directors and Managing Directors for matters that require attention.
Apply in-depth understanding of Internal Audit standards, policies and regulations to a specific product or function area in relation to Data quality
Work on risk based audits, as may be required, including both design and operating effectiveness testing of control environment as well as reporting.
Qualifications:

6-10 years of relevant experience · Related certifications (CPA, ACA, CFA, CIA, CISA or similar) preferred
Effective comprehension of business side of audit function and subject matter expertise regarding technology application
Effective verbal, written and negotiation skills
Effective project management skills
Effective influencing and relationship management skills
Demonstrated ability to remain unbiased in a diverse working environment
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Education:

Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Candidature with any certification around Data Risk / Risk management / Data quality shall be considered an add on.
Candidature with any prior experience with regulatory reporting shall be very helpful.
