A Top 225 Public Accounting firm is looking to hire a fully remote Senior Audit Associate to join their government audit practice group!

Job Details
Responsibilities
• Overseeing and conducting financial audits for a diverse range of clients.
• Preparing and reviewing audit work papers and reports, ensuring they are accurate and comply with applicable standards and regulations.
• Assisting in the planning and execution of audit engagements, ensuring they are conducted efficiently and effectively.
• Providing technical guidance and support to junior team members, helping them develop their skills and knowledge.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing them with valuable insights and advice.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. A CPA is a plus.
• 2+ years of public accounting experience
• MUST have experience working on small & local government audits (some examples include cities, municipalities, school districts, etc.)
