Description
The Auditor will work with various teams to support the coverage of Indian and APAC legal entities and processes. After an initial training phase, the Audit Analyst/Auditor will join a global audit team on a permanent basis.
During this assignment, the Auditor will be exposed to various audit processes, including key divisional and infrastructure units. The Auditor will also support ad hoc RBI requests as needed.
The Auditor conducts audit work across these functions and collaborates with other audit teams to provide integrated coverage and assurance.
The Auditor works under supervision to evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls.
The Auditor works with subject matter experts and other teams to provide 'front-to-back' audit coverage.
Key Responsibilities:
Auditors work independently on audits and/or tasks delegated within the scope of audits for a specific business/functional area/region.
Auditors evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls relating to risks within those business areas.
Auditors develop professional consultative working relationships within their function and with stakeholders inside the bank and respective support areas.
Auditors work in a cooperative manner with subject matter experts and other teams to provide 'front-to-back' audit coverage.
Auditors may participate in ad-hoc projects.
Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university, including knowledge of auditing standards and concepts.
Awareness of general banking environment and/or awareness of the risks and regulatory requirements.
Fluent in English, communicating clearly both verbally and in writing.
Dedication to self-development and building technical knowledge.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Critical thinker with understanding of emerging technologies (Cloud, AI, Python etc.)
Good analytical, problem-solving, relationship management, and presentation skills.
Ability to work in virtual, global teams in a matrix organization.
Self-starter with ability to multi-task assignments, prioritize workload, and be resilient under pressure.
Unquestionable personal integrity and ethics.
