10+ years’ experience in academic leadership in a tertiary education and/or tertiary level rangahau environment
Be a respected academic leader and mentor with a record of academic achievement suitable for appointment
Distinguished research portfolio demonstrating sustained excellence in research, with significant peer-reviewed publications, research leadership, and national/international recognition in the field
Proven track record securing competitive research funding and external research income to support Indigenous hauora research programmes
Demonstrated ability to develop significant Rangahau/research connections and partnerships with key stakeholders including hapori, iwi and hapū, industry, government and/or business.
