Key Responsibilities
Operations Oversight: Manage day-to-day e-commerce logistics operations, including order fulfillment, shipping, and last-mile delivery.
Team Leadership: Lead, train, and mentor a team of operations staff, fostering a culture of efficiency, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in workflows and implement strategies to optimize processes and reduce operational costs.
Inventory Management: Oversee inventory control, stock levels, and replenishment to ensure smooth operations and reduce stock-outs.
Logistics Coordination: Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers, carriers, and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
Technology Integration: Work with IT teams to implement and optimize e-commerce and logistics platforms, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
Customer Satisfaction: Collaborate with customer service teams to ensure a smooth and efficient customer experience, from order placement to delivery.
Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local regulations, including safety, labor, and environmental standards.
Budget Management: Manage operational budgets, control expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
What We Are Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field. A master’s degree or certifications in operations or logistics management (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, APICS) is highly desirable.
Experience:
Minimum of 8–12 years of experience in e-commerce operations, logistics, or supply chain management, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
Proven track record of managing large-scale e-commerce logistics operations and delivering measurable results.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of e-commerce logistics, including fulfillment, inventory management, and last-mile delivery.
Expertise in supply chain optimization and warehouse management systems (WMS).
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
Excellent leadership and team management skills, with experience managing diverse and cross-functional teams.
Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.
Proficiency in logistics and operations software, as well as data analytics tools.
