Job Description
Fix Auto is looking for an Auto Body Prepper with Light Collison repair skills
As an Auto Body Prepper, you will be responsible for prepping various makes and models of vehicle for bodywork and paint.
A day in the Life of an Auto-Body Prepper at Fix Auto
Read, understand, and follow work orders.
Inspection of projects prior to refinishing to ensure all prep and repair work is complete.
Apply masking to the bumpers, windows and trim for primer preparation.
Prepare the vehicle for paint; sanding, taping, and applying primer.
Clean and smooth surfaces before the application of primer and paint
Detailing of paint work such as unmasking, inspection, touch ups, buffing and minor reassembly.
Execute minor body work.
Our ideal candidate is someone:
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 12 years of collision shop work experience
Possess a valid drivers' license
Ability to work well under pressure.
