Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with hands-on experience in a dealership environment. This role requires mechanical knowledge and proficiency in using both hand and power tools to restore vehicles to their pre-accident condition. The Auto Body Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring high-quality repairs and customer satisfaction.

Duties

Perform body repairs on vehicles, including frame straightening and panel replacement.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs efficiently.
Conduct thorough inspections of damaged vehicles to determine the extent of repairs needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repair jobs.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Assist in heavy lifting of automotive parts and components as required during the repair process.
Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.
Requirements

Previous experience as an Auto Body Technician or in a similar mechanic role is preferred.
Dealership experience is a plus, providing familiarity with specific vehicle models and manufacturer standards.
Strong mechanical knowledge, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed during repairs, ensuring safety practices are followed.
