Duties
Assess damaged vehicles and determine the necessary repairs needed for restoration.
Perform bodywork, including repairing dents, scratches, and structural damage.
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks.
Remove and replace damaged parts such as doors, hoods, and fenders.
Prepare surfaces for painting by sanding, filling, and priming as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Stay updated on the latest automotive repair techniques and technologies.
Experience
Proven experience as an Auto Body Technician or similar role in a dealership or repair shop setting.
Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair.
Ability to perform heavy lifting as required during repairs.
Familiarity with various hand tools and power tools used in auto body work.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of experience in auto body repair and filler application.
Knowledge of vehicle body structure and repair techniques.
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
