Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Auto Glass Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive glass repair, with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and safety standards. This role involves working with various tools and techniques to ensure high-quality service for our customers, maintaining vehicle integrity, and enhancing safety features. Prior experience and mechanical knowledge are highly desirable. The Auto Glass Technician will play a vital role in delivering exceptional auto glass solutions. Transportation is required.
Duties
Remove and replace auto glass using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment
Install windshields, side windows, rear windows, and other glass components with precision
Assist in vehicle maintenance tasks including minor repairs and assembly work as needed
Use auto estimating software to assess repair costs and communicate findings with customers or management
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored after use
Experience
Previous dealership experience or automotive repair background is preferred
Knowledge of auto glass installation, auto body repair, and vehicle maintenance techniques
Experience with hand tools, power tools, and automotive assembly processes
Mechanical knowledge related to automotive systems and repairs is advantageous
Prior experience in auto estimating or detailing is beneficial but not required
Pay
Base salary $10/hr + commission on every serviced vehicle
Weekly payout
30 hours a week
