Job Description
Job Responsibilities Include:
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues on a variety of vehicles
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
- Test driving vehicles to ensure proper functioning after repairs
- Keeping accurate records of work performed and parts used
- Providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs to customers and answering any questions they may have
- Assembling and disassembling vehicle parts as needed for repairs or replacements
- Operating hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to perform repairs
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Mechanic
- Certification from a technical school or completion of an apprenticeship program is preferred but not required
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and how they work
- Ability to use diagnostic equipment to identify issues
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
