Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team. As a Lead Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various vehicles. This is a full-time position at our shop. The main responsibilities for this position alongside repairs, are diagnosing various vehicles, completing vehicle checklists/inspection lists, communicating with customers and lower level techs. Experience with electrical diagrams, modules and scanner diagnostics is our main need for this position.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine automotive maintenance tasks. Checking fluids and filters, highlighting any minor/major issues.

Diagnose and repair vehicle issues using diagnostic tools and equipment

Complete necessary repairs efficiently and accurately

Communicate with team members and occasional customers

Keep accurate records of all repairs and maintenance performed

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while working in the shop

Skills: Strong mechanical knowledge and skills - Ability to use power tools and other automotive equipment effectively - Familiarity with reading and interpreting schematics and technical manuals - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks - Experience working in a dealership/mechanic shop setting is preferred but not required. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 50 per week

AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (required)

General Automotive: 5 years (required)

Automotive diagnostics: 2 years (required)

Driver's License (required)
