About Inline
Inline is a rapidly growing civil engineering field services company operating across Canada. We support major infrastructure, energy, and industrial projects through surveying, materials testing, and geotechnical services.
We’ve grown quickly, and now we’re focused on scaling how we operate—not just how we grow.
This role is about building the systems that power that next phase.
The Role
We are looking for a hands-on builder to implement automation and AI across the business using the Microsoft ecosystem.
You will work directly with operations, finance, HR, and project teams to identify inefficiencies and build solutions that eliminate them.

Eliminate repetitive administrative tasks across departments
Integrate systems (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, etc.)

Train teams on how to use AI effectively
4. Partner with the Business
Sit with teams and understand real workflows
Translate business problems into practical solutions
Rapidly prototype and deploy improvements
5. Drive Adoption & Change
Ensure solutions are adopted and used across teams
Influence leaders to embed automation into daily operations
Continuously refine solutions based on feedback
6. Establish Automation Standards
Create scalable, secure solutions
Build governance around Power Platform usage
Document and maintain systems
What Success Looks Like
Within 6 months:
High-impact workflows automated across core functions (10-20 core workflows automated)
Proposal and reporting processes significantly streamlined
Measurable reduction in administrative time across teams
Clear, prioritized roadmap for ongoing automation and AI adoption
What We’re Looking For

Hands-on experience with:

Comfortable working in ambiguity and moving quickly
Nice-to-Have:
Experience with Copilot / Copilot Studio
Experience with Dataverse and/or Power BI
Background in consulting or building solutions for operations teams
Experience in engineering, construction, or field services environments
What This Role Is NOT
