RPA DevOps Specialist

The opportunity

The RPA DevOps Specialist role is responsible for support and maintain high quality RPA solutions that match or exceed expectations in an agile environment. The RPA Development Specialist is supposed to understand the escalated issues from level 1 and provides solutions and code fixes for the same. The role will report to the IA Portfolio lead.


The selected candidate will:

Be part of a DEVOPS team, responsible for Development and Operations of RPA bots (BluePrism and UIPath)
Build quality assessments, review and improve codes of existing processes
Identify repetitive incidents, code optimization or improvement opportunities, potential issues and defects, and drive them to closure
Support existing RPA processes and implement change requirements and code fixes
Support platform migration and Maintenance activities
Driving the adoption of best practices around coding, design, quality and performance
Collaborate with multi-functional and virtual teams across IT, business operational functions, and vendors to review current project activities, prioritization of work, communicate status, and escalate automation-related issues
Share knowledge with other team members and provide guidance to RPA support team
Provide inputs to monthly portfolio reviews with the business

Skills and attributes for success

To qualify for the role you must have

University degree in IT or business or equivalent
Overall 6-8 () years of development / support experience with minimum 3 years in RPA development, including experience in handling complex multi bot architecture-based projects.
Solid technical background with proven experience as developer
Ability to design automated solutions from business process workflows.
Experience in RPA processes testing, code changes and releases to production environment
Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
Flexibility to work in shifts and on-on call including weekends
Organizational skills in planning and prioritizing own workload and initiatives
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong ability to lead and manage discussions with different stakeholders, handle difficult situations with ease and professionalism

Ideally, you’ll also have

Certification in BluePrism and UIPath
Experience with Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning ,NLP, robotic chatbots, blockchain, IoT, Process mining etc.
Experience with development and support of cloud applications (preferably Azure)
Experience working in a virtual team environment across multiple time zones
Knowledge and exposure to IT Infrastructure, Network technologies and access management within enterprises.
Experience handling Incidents and Changes in ServiceNow or similar tools
Experience in Interfacing with software vendors, suppliers, and professional services in support of automation software’s.
Experience with agile methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen etc.
