Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are currently looking for highly motivated Automation Developer Interns, who are execution-focused and want to work on challenging problems. As an Automation Developer, you would be thinking of out-of-the-box and creative solutions to build complex flows. Some typical things that you'd be doing in automation are:
• Scrape data from websites with sophisticated anti-scraping measures.
• Process information from different platforms and tools, and create reports that can be used by managers to keep track of the different initiatives/experiments in the company
• Create plug-n-play modules for common functionalities that can be integrated with very little effort
• Making systems smarter so that they can detect issues early on and inform the right people before anything major goes wrong
We do all of the above and more by using the following tools and technologies:
• Django framework built on Python
• AWS EC2 and RDS
• Nginx, Gunicorn and Supervisor
• Postgresql and Redis
• Celery, CRON jobs
• Selenium and Beautiful Soup
• Github
• Jira
• Google Sheets
Requirements
Experience : 0- 6 months
Must-Have
• Problem solving ability with a knack for figuring out possible edge cases
• Logical thinking and a history of writing basic algorithms
• Confidence to be open and ask for help when needed
• Basic communication skills
• Experience with Python development
Good to Have
• Prior Web scraping experience
• Understanding of databases, REST Apis, and deployment
• High level of ownership
