Strategy
• You will inspire to deliver high business value, with a keen focus on KPIs to track progress. Our team builds core components that will enhance the developer and technology users experience at our Bank. You will be working with an international team of engineers and senior leaders.
Business
• Work collaboratively with stakeholders. Understand clients' needs and proactively delight them with special experiences to drive superior client experience.
Processes
• Participate and contribute to discussions and planning around our Enterprise Information Technology Strategy.
People and Talent
• The ideal candidate is open-minded, a team player with strong engineering background (significant hands on experience) and excited by fresh challenges in an innovative working environment. You should have strong senior stakeholder management and communications skills with clients, be experienced in line management in a culturally diverse and cross-regional matrix organisation. To drive success, a passion for making tangible hands-on contributions is required, together with keen interest in modern tooling, technology concepts, and initiatives.
Risk Management
• Creating and actively managing a catalogue of all products (standards) used across the bank
Governance
• Track the usage and inventory of these products
• Remediate usage of non-standard/obsolete products
Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group's Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Lead to achieve the outcomes set out in the Bank's Conduct Principles
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
• Exercise authorities delegated by the Board of Directors and act in accordance with Articles of Association
Key Stakeholders
You would work closely with the different businesses & CIO teams from different domains, DevOps, Monitoring, Security, Governance, Legal and Compliance Teams to drive adoption of approved Group Standards across the bank.
