Senior Network Automation Engineer - up to $240k T/C - Exceptional opportunity with High-frequency top tier trading firm - NYC
We are hiring for a Senior Automation Engineer for an extremely successful, high performance, trading firm that is making a significant investment into modernizing and scaling their networking infrastructure.
Today, much of their network is still managed through manual, portal-based changes, which makes updates difficult to track, audit, and scale. The goal is to move toward a Network Infrastructure as Code model, using Terraform and Python, so network and security changes become version-controlled, automated, and fully repeatable.
This is a high-impact role where you would help shape how network engineering is done across the organization, working across on-prem and cloud environments (AWS) while influencing the team toward a more automation-first approach. You would be working across areas such as:
• Enterprise networking across data center, WAN, and wireless environments
• Cloud networking and hybrid connectivity
• Firewalls, security controls, and network reliability
• Introducing automation and repeatable workflows for network changes
• Acting as a technical leader and mentor within the team
It is a high impact position where you would help shape how the network engineering function evolves as the company continues to invest heavily in its technology platform.
