You will be the part of FLSmidth’ s Smart Products – ECS Platform and Solutions team.
Role
We are looking to hire a skilled PLC programmer to design and develop standard control system software for various products supplied to the industry. You will analyze system requirements, writing programmable logic code using Structured Text programming language with IEC 61131-3 standard, testing system efficiency, and providing operational support. You should have excellent knowledge of machine mechanics, a logical approach, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. As a skilled PLC programmer, you should also be able to easily identify and design a robust program fit for any mechanical or electrical purpose.
Your responsibilities
Discuss with internal clients to their mechanical or electrical automation needs.
Drawing electrical or mechanical schematics to demonstrate how processes will work.
Developing and installing machine programs using automation software and custom coding languages.
Developing and maintaining standard PLC library blocks and SCADA visualization components for machine control systems.
Following agile methodology to do standard automation control solutions developments.
Determining machine automation test criteria.
Testing automated systems for efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Troubleshooting system errors.
Overseeing the successful installation of PLC programs.
Documenting development processes.
Providing internal clients with technical support.
What you bring
Experience in Industrial Protocols like Modbus, Ethernet, PROFIBUS, PROFINET, DeviceNet etc.
Knowledge of Structured Text programming language with IEC 61131-3 standard.
Knowledge of SCADA/HMI design and programming.
Knowledge of commissioning, factory/site acceptance test (FAT/SAT), troubleshooting.
Knowledge of C# programming, XAML, Edge-Computing, Cyber security will be an advantage
Education Qualification
Bachelor's degree in software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering from a reputed University.
Experience
3+ year’s experiences with Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider PLC programming.
