Responsibilities and Duties
Work as part of an Agile development team, developing automation tests alongside feature development
Monitor and report progress whilst providing test metrics to the team (Technical & Non-Technical)
Developing and maintaining an automated QA test suite
Ensure all work is completed in a timely manner and in accordance with established processes, practices, procedures and quality standards
Manage defects found and work with stakeholders to analyse, prioritise and resolve them
Identify and inform the team of any impediments or risks to product quality or project delivery
Run and update the existing automation test suite using Ruby, Capybara and Cucumber
Essential
Experience with creating Automation Tests and running them in CI
Effective communication skills with both business and technical audiences
Experience in test design and implementation, including planning, executing and validating tests across and able to create test plans from scratch
Understanding of agile methodologies such as test driven development, and testing in an Agile environment
Be well versed in software engineering tools and best practices
A passion for technology, analytical and logical thinking with natural curiosity
Experience with Cucumber BDD Tool
