Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Java-based test automation using TestNG and Cucumber, and a solid understanding of API testing. The ideal candidate will also be proficient with DevOps monitoring and observability tools like Kubernetes, Kibana, and Grafana. You will be part of a fast-paced QA team responsible for building robust automated test frameworks and ensuring high-quality delivery across microservices and distributed systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java, TestNG, and Cucumber.
Develop comprehensive API test cases and validate RESTful APIs using tools such as Postman or REST-assured.
Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines.
Monitor and troubleshoot application performance and reliability using Kibana, Grafana, and Kubernetes logs.
Collaborate closely with developers, DevOps, and product teams to identify testing needs and ensure coverage.
Drive test automation best practices and promote a culture of quality across the engineering teams.
Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with developers to resolve issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Strong programming experience in Java.
Proficient with test automation frameworks such as TestNG and Cucumber.
Solid experience in API testing (RESTful services) using tools like Postman, REST-assured, or similar.
Good understanding and working knowledge of Kubernetes – navigating pods, analyzing logs, etc.
Experience with Kibana and Grafana for application monitoring and analysis.
Knowledge of CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
