Role Responsibilities

Automation Test Lead to develop automation script for Custody project releases.

The role encompasses the Automation Test Lead to ensure that development for automated regression testing is carried out prior to go-live and complying with the SCB's Testing Standards.
• Ensure all testing are as per SCB's Testing Standards including testing process, software versioning control and release implementation checkpoint from testing on time.
• To identify and suggest improvement for better quality, and higher productivity in areas especially in automation development test planning, scripting, execution and process adherence.
• Responsible for timely development of automation script using Java, Selenium stack
• Responsible on defect resolution management for immediate resolution that is meeting SLA.
• Able to assist test manager in performing test engagement cost estimation, by providing input on the test automation development.
• Effective participation in Test management activities wrt regression execution & dev status reporting
• To conduct automation dev knowledge sharing sessions, periodically, for best practices and/or application system specific.
• Identify and develop regression scenarios to build the Product (Core application) capability matrix and Interface capability matrix for all applicable countries
• Demonstration of adherence to the management principles for effective risk and control and the Group's fair accountability principles
• Prompt and decisive action when any risk and compliance weaknesses become apparent, addressing them in an appropriate timeframe, escalating where necessary, having carefully understanding on the issue.
• Work with business users in various countries to create test cases for enhancements and fixes on applications
• Follow the test process and continuously improve the quality of the test process
• Reverse engineer requirements and develop models as needed for test automation
• Write accurate defect reports, facilitate problem resolution, and verify fixes

• Ensure environment readiness and sanity check before start of Regression phase
• Conduct reviews / inspections of project and test deliverables and provide feedback
• Contribute to define & Document test procedures and policies.

Qualifications & Skills
• Degree in IT / Engineering or equivalent
• Min 5-10 years of experience in automation development for regression / in-sprint testing
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of senior executives, managers, and subject matter experts

Mandatory

• Hands on in waterfall or Agile methodology
• High analytical skill – to understand and comprehend complex functionalities

• Understanding of SWIFT messages
