About Company:
DeepThought (DT), a DeepTech product innovation company, dreams of transforming every school/college into an MIT/Harvard/IISER-style research institution by 2030. Our SD LMS (Socratic Dialogue Learning Management System) is based on DT's thread-building technology. DT (SD LMS) helps product startups in grooming beginners for product-innovation roles.
Some of our early clients are Kringle.ai (loyalty programs), Growpital (AgriTech), and IPx (FinTech). In the long term, we'd like to serve schools, colleges, corporates, and institutions with a research and innovation culture. DT is funded by 5 school leaders, 3 parents, and 3 technologists including Mr. S.Vishwanathan (former CPO, NIIT Technologies), Mr. Anup Kalbalia (former lead, CodeChef), and Dr. Jyothi Reddy (Director of Education, The Shriram Universal School).
About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Work with the QA automation team on a daily basis for planning, executing, and enhancing test automation infrastructure involving functional tests
2. Stay involved in the designing and development of test automation scripts using JavaScript and TestCafe
3. Work on writing and utilizing a large-scale functional test automation ecosystem for regression testing
4. Improve operational efficiencies within the QA automation team
5. Work on writing custom x-paths and generating reliable web element identifiers
6. Update and maintain traceability matrices to ensure test coverage with the approval of QA leadership
7. Execute test scripts accurately and efficiently, via automation
8. Capture and communicate the results of testing accurately and clearly
+. Provide accurate progress status to the QA leadership team
10. Collaborate with the development team on all defects including root cause analysis discussions
11. Follow up with QA leadership on issues and escalations and provide recommendations for potential resolutions
12. Work with product owners, application development, and project management teams to ensure the quality and timely completion of testing plans
13. Assist in all phases of code deployments including but not limited to off-hours support and an occasional weekend
Who can apply: Computer science engineering graduates/B. Tech graduates are preferred.
