We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Automation Tester – Selenium in JAVA/Cucumber/Test NG
In this role, you will:
• Experience as Test Analyst/Automation Tester and must have experience in Functional and Automation testing for Web, API, Desktop, Database automation.
• Carry out E2E automation testing along with manual testing.
• Proficiency in test case creation and execution, test data identification, development of automated test script and execution.
• Ensure ‘automation 1st culture’ using Selenium with cucumber/Test NG to automate sanity, smoke, regression and implements ‘in sprint’ or ‘n-1’ sprint automation in all POD’s across programme.
• Participates in refining testing practices and methodologies. Coordinate, Prepare Test Bed, Test Data for execution in SIT/UAT env.
• Responsible for ownership of Test Automation using Selenium tool, implement best automation practices.
• Execute tests, track, and monitor defects/Stories to closure and produce test metrics and test reports. Work with Developers, BA, PO to ensure all requirements covered as part of automation tests.
• Provide daily and weekly status reports to Automation Test manager on the test automation creation/execution progress
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• 5+ year minimum of overall experience in manual and automation testing projects
• Knowledge of Selenium is mandatory. Knowledge of any other automation using TOSCA, Java, Python would be added advantage.
• Hands-on experience with Java Sprint boot. Strong exposure to testing terminologies and processes.
• Extend and develop automated test framework and support the progression of automated test strategy. Deep knowledge of Selenium, Rest API, UI Automation
• Selenium with Cucumber/Test NG. Required 3 to 4 Years in define testing scenarios, Modules, execution, library. Coordinate testing activities with functional and technical leads. Understanding of test management tools, JIRA, ALM and Confluence. Experience of testing in Agile Environment
• Excellent multitasking ability - Must have ability to track multiple issues, effectively manage time and competing priorities, and to drive results through partner organizations
• Experience in API testing/automation as well as continuous testing as part of CI\CD required. Understanding of Test plan, test strategy, test management etc.
• Good understanding of TDD and BDD concepts. Basic Knowledge of GCP.
