Business Description

AFC Sanctions & Embargoes Technology program is set up to build the target state of core S&E process with appropriate technological support and assist with the development of a single case management system (Sanctions Workbench UI) scaled globally which is interlinked with other core controls systems of the bank (e.g. transaction filter case management, MI dashboards, KYC systems).

Position Description

Deployment and Test team is responsible for process orchestration and some tools provisioning for binary, environments and deployment management and works with the central QA team on tailoring standard process and providing test automation and test capturing tools.

The responsibilities of the role will include:

• Performs manual and automation testing with key focus on automation

• Creation of reusable business components of test (plans, cases, data, schedules, scripts)

• Publishes testing schedules and reports

• Create / Update Test Automation framework as per project requirement & Provide execution level support to respective teams

• Retest corrections to ensure problems are resolved

• Analyze, document and communicate results.

• Prepare and execute the test scripts / suit and ensure the test results are correctly recorded.

• Work with BA/FA and stakeholders to understand business requirements functional and non-functional specifications

• Coordinate UAT testing with business users and downstream systems.

• Provide information that enables fact-based decisions to be made

• Have a working relationship with 3rd party team members

Job Requirements

Essential skills

• Framework architecture - Well versed with Automation Framework Architectures and Design Patterns.

• Core JAVA – Should have Hands on Experience with Core Java Concepts

• Selenium – Should be aware about Selenium and associated libraries

• Cucumber BDD - Should be Well Versed with BDD Process

• JavaScript - Much needed for debugging and and Refactoring

• NodeJS & Protractor - Well versed with NodeJS Programs and coding

• Manual testing - Should be aware about core software Testing concepts

• Experience of using defect tracking tools like ALM

• Understanding of testing across the full Software Development lifecycle

• Proactively, initiate, develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members

• Agile Methodologies - Should be comfortable to work in an agile project environment

Desirable skills

• Must be skilled in detailed data analysis (strong read only SQL) against the underlying data model

• Should be familiar with the concepts of data modeling within a relational database environment

• Knowledge of different business rules and data across asset class and across data types

• Customer and service orientation to support interaction with team resources and clients

• Performance and productivity oriented to drive toward quality testing outcomes and results

• Keen organization skills

• Solid English and communication skills – both written and verbal

• Ability to handle multiple projects, priorities and client-engagements simultaneously

• Thoroughness, ability to implement planned activities in time and with acceptable quality

• Strong analytical and technical skills

• Demonstrate solid software engineering skills and willingness to learn new technologies.

Education / Qualifications Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree from an accredited college or university, ideally with an IT-related concentration (or equivalent diploma/work experience)

• Participation and/or completion in Testing certification programs (Six Sigma, , CSTE, ISTQB, ISEB or CSTP
